Deandre Presley - Appalachian State

I'm watching a part of a replay of the App. State vs. Wofford game from this past week.

With over 12 minutes to go App. State brought in their #2 quarterback...Deandre Presley...true freshman...5' 11"...170 lbs.

He is moving the ball, running, passing...and the announcers are saying that he looks an awful lot like Armanti Edwards.

Apparently, App. State isn't concerned with his size, or his year in school. Looks like they want to give Armanti's successor some experience.

Was that his first action of the year? I doubt it. If it was, I think it is too later, and I don't agree with yanking a redshirt at this point.

I wouldn't know if this was his first experience. App. State seems to have things going pretty well.

They have one heck of a program.

Remember that AE is only a Junior so he's getting experience for not next year but the year after.
