....Twas the night before game day and all through the house
Not a fan was up
Because he was resting for the night yet to come
On that Saturday evening of football fun.
He was dreaming of yellow and green and the site to be seen
With yellow in the stands and green on the field
But first was tailgate with his family and friends
Cooking rabbit brats to toast the seasons end.
Tailgate vans, buses, and RVs
They came in droves to salute their team
Flags of yellow, flags of green
And a bunny rabbit, choking on the scene
We're filled with laughter, filled with pride
For this football team tried
To make us cheer and shout and days went by.
The time has come to settle in
Because the football game is about to begin
The Bison have done us proud,
They had a stretch of 3 road games in a row, and did proud
But now it is our turn to steal the show in search of a rough and rowdy crowd
To yell and scream to make the bunnies ears bleed.
When you get to the FFD
Look around to remember this wonderful team
of the 2006, yellow and green.
WELL nobody said these things needed to ryhme!! I tired my best to get this thing to make a little sense but I am no professional poem writer! :-[ So dont bash me too bad, ok? :D ;) ;D
