Not quite as big as the Berry place on Pelican Lake.

Holy Crap! The caretakers house is probably worth more than mine is. Not saying it's nicer, just worth more if it were to be sold separately.
Maybe I'll run down to my local bank and buy this as a Christmas present for my wife. ::)

Some of those couches are ugly...I'd ask for a discount.

Anyone else seen this place? He used to own Sun Country Airlines I guess. Funny the company declared bankruptcy, apparently he didn't! ;D ;D

Berry sold Sun Country long before the bankruptcy happened.

It's my understanding John Berry (Barry) place on Pelican lake is the most expensive property in MN and from the looks is remains true in my book.

There is a place on the north shore of of Forest Lake that will rival or exceed Berry's place or the one on Brackett's Point. It is appraised at over 20 million from credible sources.

Is that your place Griz?
Hehe, here's what $14 million gets you in France:

Why is Tony looking at all these $14MM homes??
Did he get a nice raise that he hasn't disclosed, yet??
Should we expect a new Bisonville.com Sports Arena in the next couple years??

My father-in-law bought it and ripped it down to build a new monster. Although the pictures don't show it, it was actually falling apart BIG TIME!!! Yes the furniture had to go!

Could it be because this thread was started in 06?

It was a link to a lake house in the Cities that I ran across by accident a couple years ago (it really doesn't seem that long ago to me - scary). I think that all the other links to properties are broken too.
And I love the randomness of the tterb post, btw.

was that the $53 million house on Lake Minnetonka? When I was looking at homes last summer I tried to get my realtor to take us out there but she said that no ordinary agent can just show up at that property. Last I heard you could get it at $47 million. What a deal!

here's the house I was referring to earlier. It still says $53,500,000 but I'm sure if you came at them with a $45,000,000 they'd consider it. Anybody on bisonville looking for a lake home?

Sweet, that would greatly reduce my taxable income at the end of the year. Sure the taxes are high but you really have to watch out for the heating bill? I wonder if you could get on the budget plan with Xcel?:)

This house (I mean estate) I saw in Architectural Digest not long ago. If I had that much money, I'd build my own lake and stock it with walleye, perch and catfish. I'd put this all next to a large hill/basin where I'd build a chairlift for skiing. I'd have my own Elk and Bison herd! I'd recreate Chub's Pub in the basement (next to the Thunder Bar and Grill). I'd also have a strong roof for when Lakes comes over and it starts 'raining bitches'! That could be REALLY hard on a roof!!!

Would this do? You'd have to redecorate.

F that!!! that house sucks! The kind of person who would live in that house drinks with their pinky up and walks with a big stick in their ass and their nose waaay up in the air! (similar to a UND grad, although it's hard for a Sioux alum to afford a house like that on a pizza delivery job!!!)
The new question: What is the most expensive house in ND? There's a house going up near Pick City that's 8-10 million. Most expensive in Bismarck? I don't know...

Man, it's tough being your realtor! I couldn't find the most expensive house in ND but I did find a possible summer place for you:

OK Tony, no castles! I just lowered your commission to 2%!
Well, Scotland could be cool, but I'd rather have a place that I could drive to in a day or less. A place on Red Mike would be close enough to Scotland for me. Plus, walleye and 'Ponchos' are nearby!!!
