2025 Recruiting Updates

For those of you who subscribe to 247/Bison Report....a thread was just posted which doesn't specifically identify two of the commits by name; however, a person was to do some research on a couple of them, based on the details provided, I'd think you could get close to pinpointing as to whom the commits may be.

Agree, but Ill say this. Our future O-line and D-line look tremendous in this class. Those are the important positions and the players are great.

Also of SDSUs commits, 4 are from South Dakota. It's possible we offer some SD kids not because we think we will win but as a way to ensure they have to pay a full ride or attract other bigger teams. We've won some battles.

Both teams recruit good players and SDSU having a good class doesn't mean ours isn't good. Most of the SDSU roster last year we didn't recruit most of them

Also they graduated more players than we did so they may have a few more scholarships

Well, 3 of the head-to-head losses to SDSU are from the Minnesota and 1 is from Omaha (the other is from SD). I think NDSU's class looks good on paper so far but no matter how you spin it losing head-to-head recruiting battles to a school you've traditionally beaten in those scenarios probably isn't a good thing. There's plenty of good players out there though and the players that SDSU has built their championship seasons around in recent years are, for the most part, not guys that NDSU offered. No reason why NDSU can't do the same (I believe Babatz and Braaten are the only NDSU commits so far holding SDSU offers - and Braaten is obviously a ND kid).
